An early cut-up exercise breaking a linear film into divisors of 24 frames and reassembling randomly. A merger of timber and filmic practice that ultimately needed a little Kermit to revive it.

The Film (1998, 16mm, 8:55) 
I have called this film many things over the years. It was the first found footage film I made from material retrieved from garbage cans and dumpsters. I edited it with tape and scissors, holding the film up to the light to cut. It was the basis for Dissolve.
